Wellbarrier General Privacy Statement

We are committed to protecting your privacy and developing technology that gives you high value and a safe experience.  

This Statement of Privacy applies to the Wellbarrier® Illustration Tool, the use of our websites and other interactions with Wellbarrier AS. 

What data we hold about you and how do we collect the data
We hold some personal data such as username, email, name and the company you work for, which are collected and stored when your user account is created (usually by your employer). 

Other information we keep when your account is created are personal preferences to use your Wellbarrier Illustration Tool, location information such as the country you are associated with, notes and comments you add as part of the work you produce within the Wellbarrier Illustration Tool.

To make sure that you are safe when you log in and out from Wellbarrier Illustration Tool, we store information from which IP address you used and the city you were logging in from. We store this so we can show you the history, for you to see if someone else is using your account and for forensic purposes if needed.

When you send us feedback through the support feature, we will collect a little information from your browser and from where in the system you were at the time of the occurrence related to your support request. This to better understand your request and to resolve issues for you in a faster manner. We store audit logs for all the work you do within Wellbarrier Illustration Tool, which contain a reference to you as a user and the type of work / changes you were doing, such as a change to your data, illustration etc.

In various occasions we allow you to make comments and add notes etc. Please be aware of any information you may enter, as it may become visible to the other users in your organization. 

How we use your data
All data we collect and store about you are used to ensure that all data are consistent and accurate values are added, eg. audit logs. 

We may use your data for troubleshooting incidents if you require our assistance; we may use the information you provide us, together with information we find in, for example, system logs etc. 

Some data is aggregated statistical information, so it can be used for decision making and learning for both your company as well as Wellbarrier. We may also use your contact information to get in touch if we need to communicate with you. 

While using our websites or the Wellbarrier Illustration Tool, there are used ”cookies", which is a text file that is placed on your device by the web browser. One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time.

You can accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the Wellbarrier AS services or websites you visit. 

We do not sell or send your personal data to anyone. We do use third parties who monitor performance and usage of our sites. Such third parties are Google Analytics and NewRelic. 

How do we protect your data?
We secure your information against unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Communication between you and Wellbarrier Illustration Tool is encrypted, and data are stored in highly secure data centers. We perform an annual security test with a third party to make sure we comply with the widely used OWASP at level 2 standard. 

Physical measures are also in place to detect any intrusion attempt, firewalls and highly physical security measures in place to access our data center facilities.

Any printed information is kept for the period of use only and then shredded, ie. we do not store printed information for longer periods. 

Who can see your data
You have full access to see all your data and data footprints we keep about you from your profile page. Your colleagues have access to see your audit information on the work where you have contributed. The corporate administrator and country administrator have access to manage your account and see some statistics about system usage.  

Employees and our development team can see information on a need-to-know basis. Any access to the Wellbarrier Illustration Tool is logged and traceable. We only access this information when there is a need for assistance. We also take out statistics from the system which is aggregated information and not personal.
